LOCAL FIREFIGHTING CAPABILITIES BOOSTED WITH $635.5M FIRE SERVICE HEADQUARTERS, AMENITIES VALUED AT $2.8B

The Guyana Fire Service and Emergency Headquarters, valued at $635.5 million, was officially commissioned on Wednesday at Homestretch Avenue. As part of the ceremony, a fleet of vehicles and other firefighting appliances were handed over to strengthen the country’s firefighting capabilities.
