Nearly two months after the Omicron variant is suspected of having swooped down on Guyana, infecting, hospitalising and killing scores of Guyanese and causing a mad rush for testing, Health Authorities
have finally managed to send twenty patient samples to the Caribbean Public Health Agency in Trinidad and Tobago to gather information on whether or not Omicron was ever actually here. Here’s Temika Rodney with the details.
