GUYLINGO Creole Chatbot:
In collaboration with the University of Guyana (UG), a local technologist is developing GUYLINGO—a Creole language chatbot designed to improve digital communication and language preservation in Guyana.
This innovative project aims to bridge linguistic gaps, making online interactions more accessible for those who primarily speak or understand Guyanese Creole. The chatbot will use artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) to translate, interact, and assist users in Creole.
As Creole remains a dominant spoken language across Guyana, GUYLINGO could be crucial in promoting digital inclusivity and preserving local dialects.
