Man, 52, dies as motorcycles collide on the Demerara Harbour Bridge

A 52-year-old died on Tuesday afternoon, hours after his motorcycle collided with another on the Demerara Harbour Bridge at span 44.

Dead is Shazam Khan of Lot 753 Westminster, West Bank Demerara (WBD). The Guyana Police Force reported that the accident occurred at about 08:30h.

Reports are that motorcycle CL 2370, driven by Khan, was proceeding east along the southern side of the Demerara Harbour Bridge at a fast rate.
