- Reportedly over property dispute
A man is currently a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), after he was assaulted by his brother-in-law. According to the man who has been identified as Satrohan Gocool, the stabbing resulted from an old domestic dispute.
The man, who is a truck driver, claims his brother-in-law, Shaieed Juman, has been angry over a property that was left in the care of the other relatives.
The man is insistent that he was stabbed by his brother in law because he, Juman, is of the belief that he was responsible for convincing his wife and sister in law not to sell the property. Juman has reportedly been bent on having the property sold.
Gocool was rushed to the Diamond Hospital and was later transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation. He stated the matter was reported and from all indication, his brother in law has since been taken into custody.
