Melissa “Melly-Mel” Atwell-Holder Granted US$7,500 Bond in U.S. Immigration Case

By HGPTV Newsroom

Melissa “Melly-Mel” Atwell-Holder was granted a US$7,500 bond on Wednesday concerning her ongoing immigration proceedings in the United States.

The decision was made after the presiding judge upheld arguments presented by Atwell-Holder’s legal counsel, who pointed out that she is lawfully married to a U.S. citizen and has a verified immigration status pending further administrative processing.

Notably, the U.S. Department of Immigration’s Principal Legal Adviser confirmed Atwell-Holder’s status verification and did not object to the granting of bail. The government’s lawyer indicated to the court that she posed neither a flight risk nor any threat to the safety and security of the United States.

The court’s decision clears the way for Atwell-Holder to be released pending the resolution of her immigration case.
