Despite many challenges, including inadequate funding, the mercy Wings Vocational Center located in Sophia is celebrating 22 years in operation. The centre, which provides vocational training for early school leavers, has over the years been the launching pad for thousands of young Guyanese to become meaningful contributors to society. Joel Vogt sat down with the project coordinator of the institution and filed this report.
