51-year-old Derrick Cox appeared before Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on Monday to answer to the charge of Possession of Narcotics for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Cox, a miner of Lot 105 Light Street Georgetown was charged with the said offense despite pleading not guilty to the charge.
He was placed on $100,000 bail and the matter was put down for the 14th of March and transferred to the Kamarang Magistrate’s Court.
The accused was initially arrested on the 4th of February.
