With the nation reeling from three brutal murders in a short period, all linked to gender-based violence (GBV), there is a growing demand for police officers to be held accountable for failing to properly handle reports from victims. Advocates are calling for greater enforcement of protective measures and stricter consequences for negligence within the force.
