“Missing” Stewartville Secondary student found safe and sound in Berbice

The 17-year-old female Stewartville Secondary School, West Coast Demerara (WCD) student who was reported missing since April 24, this year, was found by the cops “alive and well” at a home in Eldorado village, West Coast Berbice (WCB).

According to a police statement, Stephanie Doris, was found alive and well at the home of her adopted grandmother, Brenda Gravesande, when police ranks who were acting on information visited the woman’s house around 16:30h on Friday (yesterday).

The teenager was questioned by the cops then released into Gravesande’s custody.

Doris had been reported missing at the Den Amstel Police Station, WCD, on Tuesday and was said to have been last seen on Monday wearing an “orange coloured three-quarter pants and white T-shirt with black slippers.”
