
A 24-year-old man lost his life on Wednesday morning after he crashed his motorcycle into a parked lorry along the Auchlyne Public Road, Corentyne.
The dead man has been identified as Kelon Scott of Limlair Village, Corentyne. The accident occurred at about 6:10h.

Reports are that Scott was riding motorcycle CL 9964 allegedly at a fast rate of speed along the Auchlyne Public Road when he lost control and crashed into the motor lorry bearing licence plate number GLL 1193.
As a result of the collision, Scott fell onto the roadway, where he received injuries on his body.
He was picked up in an unconscious condition by public-spirited citizens and rushed to the Port Mourant Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
