MOTTLEY CALLS FOR MORE UNITY AMONG AFRICAN NATIONS. DISUNITY, SELFISHNESS, AND EXPLOITATION MUST END

Mia Mottley Africa-Caribbean Realignment:

Barbadian Prime Minister Mia Mottley has issued a powerful call for a historic realignment between Africa and the Caribbean, emphasizing stronger ties to overcome centuries of injustice and persistent inequalities.

Speaking at a high-level forum, PM Mottley stressed that both regions share a common history of colonialism, economic disparity, and systemic challenges, which can only be addressed through unity, collaboration, and strategic economic partnerships.

Mottley urged leaders to bolster trade, cultural exchanges, and diplomatic cooperation, advocating for a new era of Afro-Caribbean solidarity that promotes economic independence, resilience, and sustainable development.

Her call has been widely praised as a bold step toward greater regional integration as leaders from both continents explore deeper collaboration on climate change, finance reform, and global governance.

Antonio Dey has more on this landmark appeal.
