NA driver on the run after hitting teens

Police in the New Amsterdam district is now looking for an owner and driver of a minibus who collided with a motorcycle and later fled. Information coming out of the Police force indicated that the bus with trade plate MP#1 was on Pitt Street New Amsterdam approaching the Main Road, was proceeding at a fast rate when he failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a motorcycle bearing number plate CE 9855. The motorcyclist was also reportedly riding at a fast rate. The driver of the motorcycle Maroldo Marvin, 18 years and 14-year-old Tony Crandon were both thrown off the motorcycle and received injuries about their bodies. Both teens of Lot 35-36 North Road New Amsterdam Berbice were picked up by public-spirited persons and placed in the minibus and sent to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital. The silver bus later left the hospital.
They were later admitted by a doctor for further observation. Checks were later made to locate the minibus which was found parked in a yard at Bristol Street, East Canje Berbice with damages. Several efforts were made to locate the owner and driver of the said vehicle but have since proven futile.
