For 2019, the Guyana Sugar Cooperation (GUYSUCO) has not been catered for under the Ministry of Agriculture. For 2018, $6.3B was budgeted for the Cooperation. That sum was later revised to $10.6B. Here is Minister of Agriculture – Noel Holder.
Meanwhile, $14.7M have been budgeted for the Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism (CRFM). To this end, Opposition Member of Parliament, Gail Teixeira queried whether Guyana was invoking any support from that organization to have the ban on CAT fish lifted.
