The President of the Guyana Nurses’ Association is calling on the government to implement policies to reduce the brain drain of professionally trained nurses and midwives. The association is also urging health care workers to improve the standards of their profession during the observance of the “International Year of the Nurse and Midwife”. Amel Griffith reports
