With omicron infections surging worldwide, local health authorities have recorded a significant decline in new conditions in this highly contagious strain almost two weeks after the changes were made to the country’s coronavirus testing guidelines. While the Health Minister is gloating over this new phenomenon, common sense would dictate that fewer tests .being conducted would concomitantly result in fewer infections being recorded.
