The use of alternative medicines to cure cancer often interferes with the traditional medical treatment for the disease which sometimes result in major complications here in Guyana. While cancer specialists are not against the use of ‘Bush Medicine’ they are urging patients to stick to the scientifically proven treatment for the disease.
