Over $400M in Cocaine, Ganja found on plane that illegally landed in Mahdia; Two in custody

A plane that illegally landed in Mahdia, Region Eight ((Potaro-Siparuni) on Sunday was busted by law enforcement in the area with a total of $484.5 million worth of cocaine and Marijuana.

Police Headquarters on Monday noted that the Cocaine discovered was valued at exactly Four hundred and thirty five million three hundred and eighty thousand six hundred and forty dollars (Guy $435, 380,640). The cocaine weighed 639.9 lbs.

While, the Marijuana has a street value of Forty nine million one hundred and seventy one thousand six hundred and eighty dollars (Guy $49,171,680). The marijuana amounted to 120.45 lbs.

The total value of all the drug seized is Four hundred and eighty four million five hundred and fifty two thousand three hundred and twenty dollars (Guy$484,552,320).

According to reports, local law enforcement were called to the area after a small aircraft- a white Cessna skyline single-engine airplane
suspected to have come from Venezuela landed in the area. So far, the two persons who were immediately arrested after the plane landed have been identified as 23-year-old Brazilian national Vinicius Pontes Alberto and 43-year-old Colombian Rodrigues Canon Dandres Estiven.
