Over a month ago, the National AIDs Programme Secretariat (NAPs) introduced HIV self-test kits, OraQuick, to the population, available at four medical facilities in the capital city. According to Dr Tariq Jagnarine, the Programme Manager, the kits will soon be extended to fifty HIV testing sites. More from Temika Rodney

Later this month, the first-ever official HIV Self-testing pilot programme will be launched locally. The National AIDs Programme Secretariat has procured more than 200 testing kits whichwill be distributed to kick start this initiative geared at increasing access to HIV testing services.
