The Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization are to dispatch two teams to investigate mercury emission at the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission Brickdam complex. Two teams will also investigate whether the death of a few GGMC workers in quick succession had resulted from mercury contamination.  The details in this report from Royden James.
