The Parliamentary Sectoral Committee on Natural Resources, led by opposition Member of Parliament Dawn Hastings-Williams, is preparing for a fact-finding mission to Chinese Landing in Region One. The primary aim of this visit is to engage with residents dissatisfied with the recent halt in mining activities in the area. This initiative is an effort to understand the ground realities and address the concerns of those directly affected by the cessation of mining operations. Renata Burnette will provide more detailed information on the committee’s objectives and findings in her report.
