The residents and council members of Plaisance, East Coast Demerara, have firmly stated that “it will not be business as usual” unless consultations are held. This comes after vendors, who have been operating their stalls on the railway embankment, received a notice from the Ministry of Public Works instructing them to remove their stalls within seven days.
