Below is a statement by the People’s National Congress Reform on the performance of the 2021 NGSA, CXC and CAPE exams:
The People’s National Congress Reform takes this opportunity to congratulate all of our learners for their resolve, hard work and outstanding performance during the last academic year. Special recognition must be given to those who wrote the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA), Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE).
We salute you today as we recognize your outstanding performances which come at the end of a prolonged period of intense study and preparedness. Special recognition must be given to those whose grades have caused them to gain Regional, National and International recognition. Our Golden Arrowhead is flying higher because of your outstanding performance.
We also take this time to honour our teachers, parents and all stakeholders who worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and success of our learners. Your efforts have made the difference in so many lives. To you our teachers, thank you for the tremendous sacrifices that you have made as no effort were spared in delivering education to our learners.
Each of you has the potential to become the next generation of skilled architects, scientists, engineers, lawyers, teachers, doctors and president. You must therefore, stay the course and remain committed to your own development and that of your community and country. Today you are one step closer to becoming leaders of this great nation.
