- After cordon and search in McDoom.
A house located at McDoom on the East Bank of Demerara, was today searched by Police and therein found a firearm, ammunition and a quantity of cannabis. Police ranks who were at the time conducting a cordon and search exercise, found an unlicensed 9mm pistol, 8 rounds of ammunition and some 36 grams of marijuana.
Four men have since been taken into the custody of the lawmen who are continuing their investigations. The men are said to have been at the house during the search operation.
