Police on the lookout for Linden Bandits after breaking into mechanic’s home


While deciding to go and hang out with some friends in Linden, a 47-year-old mechanic returned home to a broken bedroom window and some articles missing from his home on Sunday night. Investigations thus far have revealed that the man had secured his home in One Mile, Wismar Linden about 21:40hrs and returned about 22:25hrs to discover his bedrooms ransacked and his Samsung Galaxy tablet valued at $100,000 along with US$200 cash missing.
Further checks in the house revealed that the eastern bedroom window was broken and partially open. Upon making checks inside of his yard, he observed a blue drink case braced against the wall underneath the window and a piece of brick wrapped in a long black and white track Nike pants on the ground.
The Lindener raised an alarm informing his family members after which he subsequently made a report after being advised.
The investigation is ongoing.
