On day one of the Speaker’s Regional Debating Competition, the Quadra Thinkers Youth Group emerged victorious, defeating Santa Rosa Secondary in a spirited exchange of ideas and arguments.
Both teams presented compelling cases in the competition, which aims to promote critical thinking, public speaking, and youth engagement in national issues. Still, the judges ultimately ruled in favor of Quadra Thinkers.
