Quartet escapes from Holding Bay at Lusignan Prison

-two murder accused among the four who fled penitentiary

Police are on the hunt for four men have escaped from the Holding Bay at the Lusignan Prison, East Coast Demerara (ECD).

Among the quartet are two murder accused; 32-year-old Ganesh Dhanraj of Façade, Parika, East Bank Essequibo (EBE) and 26-year-old Kenraul Perez whose last known address was Mabaruma, North West District, Region One (Barima-Waini).

Meanwhile, the other two prison escapees were identified as 26-year-old Anthony Padmore of Ogle Street, Beterverwagting, East Coast Demerara (ECD), who was arrested for trafficking cannabis and 24-year-old Sasnarine Bisnauth of Lot 22 Tuschen Housing Scheme, EBE, who was arrested for robbery and armed robbery.

Efforts by law enforcement officials are currently underway to have the men recaptured as soon as possible.
