Almost two years into the COVID-19 epidemic in Guyana and one year since the country was able to distribute vaccines to its populace, Region 10 has maintained a relatively low vaccination coverage. Misinformation and myths are considered the driving forces for the high hesitancy rate despite efforts by the regional authorities to sensitize the residents.
