An asphalt plant set up in the backlands of De Kenderen is reportedly causing havoc among residents of Zeelught on the other side of the Boeraserie creek. The environmental hazards posed by the plant is said to have caused the death of an infant. Javone Vickerie visited the area at the weekend and filed this report.
