There is a long-term plan to remedy the adverse effects of the inclement spring-tide which left millions in damages at the weekend. That plan will entail raising the level of the Sea-Defence infrastructure along Guyana’s coastal plain which could cost millions of dollars. Javone Vickerie reports.
