The Head of SARA, is this evening refuting reports by the Guyana Times that he earns over $4M per month. Professor Clive Thomas – Director of the State Assets Recovery Agency (SARA) is setting the record straight regarding his salary. Contrary to reports, Professor Thomas said, he is not earning, $4.7M as reported in sections of the media.
The Deputy Director of the Agency earns just under $800, 000 monthly. This is the second time, according to Professor Thomas said that the offending media house has published inaccurate information relative to him.
Professor Thomas, sees, the actions of the
newspaper as deliberate.
