On Tuesday morning, a Protest erupted at Uitvlugt Estate West Coast Demerara as irate and disgruntled sugar workers chanted, “WHO MUST GO SASENARINE MUST GO.” The industrial unrest stemmed from GUYSUCO’s alleged failure to honor the holiday with pay policy for this year’s first crop.
