Scores of rresidents of the East Bank Demerara (EBD) turned out numbers at the Grove Market Tarmac, for the Housing Ministry’s Adequate Housing and Urban Accessibility Programme (AHUAP) outreach on Friday.
The outreach targeted low-income Guyanese living within the Georgetown to Grove boundary, interested in applying for Core Home Support or a Home Improvement Subsidy.
Staff from the Ministry of Housing & Water – Central Housing & Planning Authority asissted residents with their applications. On the spot interviews were also being facilitated throughout the day.
