Less than two (2) weeks after a dolphin was discovered lifeless at the Perth foreshore, Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon- Supenaam), another dead one was found Friday (today) in the same region.
The second dolphin reportedly washed ashore at Johanna Cecilia (JC), Essequibo Coast.
Well known Environmentalist, Annette Arjoon-Martins, on social media (Facebook), uploaded several photos of the second sea creature which were shared among residents in the area.
HGP Nightly News understands that the first dolphin was found on Sunday, last, by passersby traversing that area at Perth foreshore.
It was reportedly discovered lifeless and covered in blood with marks along its mouth, an indication that it had been trapped in a fishing net.
