Three men were on Monday remanded to prison for theft of hair braids and weaves.
They have been identified as Marlon Campblle (a 29-year-old Seaman); Keron Williams (a 26-year-old Seaman) and Trevon Williams (a 29-year-old Security Officer). The three accused are hail from Annandale South, E.C.D
According to the police report, the three men were arrested on Tuesday last. They were charged on Monday when they appeared at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Ms. Fabayo Azore.
They were slapped with the offence of Break and Enter and Larceny Contrary to Section 229 (a) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act Chapter 8:01.
The men are accused of breaking into a bond owned by a 38-year of businessman and stealing millions of dollars worth of hair ‘braids and weaves’.
The defendants where the charge was read to them and they pleaded not guilty.
They were all remanded to prison. The matter was adjourned to 2022-06-23.
