Security Guard shoots man with suspected counterfeit $5000 notes at Diamond

Police have reported an incident in the Diamond area on the East Bank Demerara. According to reports about 20:00hrs on Monday night, three men entered the HUA Chinese Supermarket and made several purchases with two $5000 notes and collected their change from the Chinese cashier.
As the men were leaving the supermarket, the cashier checked the two notes suspecting it was counterfeit currency.
