On Wednesday, four persons were arrested and charged with failing to execute the COVID -19 protocol of wearing a face mask when in public. The arrests were carried out after Ranks attached to the Acquero Police Station conducted a COVID-19 enforcement exercise at Kumara WaterFront, North WestDistrict, Region 1.
Several boat captains were also sensitized to the COVID-19 protocols and measures during the exercise.
