In response to the question asked by members of the press as to how the small political parties obtained SOPs for the verification process, Presidential Candidate of the People’s Republican Party, Ms. Phyllis Jordan via facebook live, had this to say.
“I can tell you first hand, that for the young parties, the minor parties, it was impossible for those parties to put a scrutineer in all of the 2000 plus polling stations and in Region four there were 800 and something polling stations… it means that we would not have gotten the statements of poll from every polling station.”
She further added, “We small parties were given handouts with collated versions of the SOPs… I saw results on it that did not bear out the results that I had from the smattering SOPs that we collected at the polling stations where we had scrutineers.”
Ms. Jordan did not reveal the party that provided those handouts but added that when the time comes she will disclose.
