RAMADAN VILLAGE OPENS FEBRUARY 27:
On Thursday, the lawns of the Muslim Youth Organisation will come alive as Guyanese from all walks of life join the Muslim community for the highly anticipated opening of the National Ramadan Village.
This annual event, which celebrates the holy month of Ramadan, will feature traditional Islamic cuisine, cultural displays, and educational sessions on the significance of fasting and reflection. Organizers have promised a welcoming atmosphere where people of all faiths can learn about and experience the rich traditions of Islam.
