A 16-year-old male student is now battling for his life after he was stabbed five (5) times about his body before being robbed of his personal items by five (5) perpetrators at Annandale, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon when the now badly injured teenager resisted the actions of the five (5) suspects who reportedly approached him and demanded his belongings.
After the youth was stabbed several times, he was robbed of his Laptop computer, one (1) cellular phone, one (1) back pack and one (1) music box.
According to the Guyana Police Force (GPF), the bleeding teen was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) where he was admitted as a patient waiting surgery.
Investigations continue.
