 Financial Support for the children and partners of persons who lose their lives on the roadways due to drunk driving should form part of the proposed amended legislation to curb drunk driving. That’s the call of the Coordinator of the  Guyana Road Safety Council, Ramona Doorgen. While lauding the proposed amendments, she believes that apart from stricter penalties for the perpetrators, help must also be given to those left behind. Tarik Braithwaite has this report
