A 16-year-old boy is now in hot water after he was allegedly caught in the process of displaying ammunition (a bullet) to other students while they were inside the La Venture Secondary School yesterday (Thursday).
According to a police statement, around 09:30h on the day in question, a female teacher approached a group of students “being shown” what appeared to be a bullet, by the 16-year-old male student.
“The said ammunition was seized and a photo of it was sent to the Head Mistress (HM) who is a military person, and she confirmed same to be a .32 ammunition. The District Education Officer was informed and the matter was reported to the police. The ammunition and the student were then handed over to the police for further investigations.”
