A 15 year old teen is now in the hospital after receiving a chop to his head According to the police, on Sunday about 20:30hrs, the teen left for Kamala’s Shop in Wallace Street Cumberland East Canje Berbice when an argument was ensued with himself and another male student. The victim’s father told police that the other student left and subsequently returned with a cutlass and chopped the youth to his forehead. He was later picked up by his father and went to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital where he still remains a patient in a stable condition.The suspect was later arrested and escorted to Central Police Station where investigations are continuing.
