A 13-year-old female is currently hospitalised and in a critical condition after one (1) of her parents allegedly found the girl inside of her bedroom in what the police presently believe to an act of attempting to take her own life.
According to a statement from the Guyana Police Force (GPF), investigators were told that the parent who discovered the 13-year-old in raised an alarm and saved her life.
However, although she was rushed to a hospital where she is currently being treated, her condition is regarded as critical. Investigations continue.
