Director of prisons Gladwyn Samuels Concedes that conditions at the Lusignan prison amounts to an untenable situation. The temporary holding bay for prisoners has become an uncomfortable environment, he says; while the minster of Public security says there is a plan to transport approximately 200 prisoners from Lusignan to the Camp street prison.
