Guyana’s youngest team member Alekah Persaud has finished second in heat four of the women’s 50m freestyle on Friday morning and will advance to the next round at the Tokyo Olympics.
Persaud, only 15 years old, finished with a time of 27.76 seconds.
Judith Meauri of Papua New Guinea won the race with a time of
28.38.
