Region 8 chairman, Bonaventura Fredrecks believes that when Mahdia is developed into a township, that district will provide a shot-in the arm for the country’s economy. Mahdia is one of the communities on the cards to gain township status in 2016. Royden James was in Mahdia and filed this story.
