A 21-year-old man has been remanded to prison after being slapped with a simple larceny charge, contrary to Section 164 of Criminal Law (offence) Act Chapter 8:01.
Nelson Bovell, of Lot 173 Ogle Street Triumph, East Coast Demerara (ECD), appeared before Magistrate Alisha George in the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court and denied the charge.
He was remanded to prison, and the case was adjourned to July 10, 2023 for report and fixtures.
