VENEZUELAN MIGRANTS RECEIVE ASSISTANCE FOR CHRISTMAS

Venezuelan migrants have received assistance for the Christmas from the Government as an increased number of persons are fluctuating Region one. Yaniss Abrams Reports.

With Venezuelan’s Economic Crisis still ongoing, the Guyana Government and the Civil Defense Commission among other stakeholders have undertaken the task of spreading Christmas joy to several Venezuelan families within Khan Hill Region 1. Junior Minister of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs Valerie Garrido-Lowe said with the increasing amount of migrants moving to Guyana, the public should also be cognizant of the efforts the government is doing to ensure that the Venezuelans are comfortable.
