During a two-day outreach in Region Six, Vice President, Bharrat Jagdeo, and other government Ministers have used the opportunity to meet with the business community of the region, the GOAL scholarship awardees, fisherfolk, farmers, and residents.
Those groups had the opportunity to raise their concerns and discuss with the high-ranking officials how they could be supported.
According to the Vice President, a number of concerns were addressed during the various meetings.
Senior Minister within the Office of the President with responsibility for Finance, Dr. Ashni Singh Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation Hugh Todd and Minister of Agriculture were present.
